Well Northern Angel Treasures will be taking part in 2 events in an effort to raise money for animals in need. As you all know I own a website called voiceforanimals.ca and it is the portal to my organization, The Ontario Animal Connection. It was founded with one idea in mind....to help needy animals.
Well, the 1st event is a cute idea which apparently takes place in my hometown annually, which I had no idea even took place!!! I was reading the Northern Life and on the front page was a man wearing a suit need deep in a creek releasing rubber duckies into the water....."Odd," I thought, but it emmediately grabbed my attention! So I read the caption under the picture and was suddenly excited! It's a contest! You buy a ticket and the number that corresponds with your ticket is connected to a rubber ducky! And at 2:00pm on May 10, 2008 the ducks will be released into the small creek which flows slowly one way and the 1st duck to reach the finish line will win it's owner $10,000! 2nd duck is $1,000 and the 3rd $500!! I'm so excited! I bought a book of 5 tickets! Should be a fun day, there will be a barbeque and everything! So I've decided that if I win, part of my winnings I will dedicate to my organization since I've been working so hard to raise funds for it.

The second event takes place June 7th, 2008 at 12:00pm. Northern Angel Treasures will be selling it's jewelry at Sudbury Ontario's 125 birthday bash!! That's right I am going to be a vendor!!! So exciting! And my hometown is turning 125 years old! Wow....
